Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Portia Morrell, educator, creator, and founder of Tech Savvy Code.

After more than a decade in computer science education, I noticed how many teachers wanted to bring Computer Science into their classrooms but didn’t have the time or support to make it happen. I created Tech Savvy Code to make that process easier. My goal is to help teachers teach computer science with confidence, creativity, and joy.

Through Tech Savvy Code, I design resources that simplify computer science instruction while sparking curiosity and imagination in students. My work focuses on making computer science accessible, equitable, and fun for every classroom and every learner.
